The dwarf sagittaria (Sagittaria subulata) is a commonly available, hardy aquatic plant that is perfect for beginners. It is relatively easy and will still thrive in a tank that doesn’t have any CO2 supplementation.
Dwarf sagittaria is good in moderate lighting, but it does best when under high lighting.
